Moving on
Well, next Saturday my little sister will graduate from college. This new chapter in her life has brought up lots of emotions for me:
1) Worry - I am worried about her and her future. I wish I could just tell her what to do and she would do it, that way I would feel ok about her choices. But, I know that my choices may not be the right choices for her. I just don't want her to make any mistakes and have to feel the hurt, sadness, pain, frustration, etc. that I have felt in parts of my life.
2) Excitement - she gets to start her new life wherever and however she wants to. Not one person I know wouldn't give anything to do the same thing.
3) Sadness - I am sad partly due to #2...this gets me to thinking about some of the choices I've made in my life and wondering if I made the right choices. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with my life, but doesn't everyone always wonder?
There are many other emotions that I am feeling, but I only have time to write about these three. Plus, these are the three that are at the forefront of my mind as this happy time approaches.
