Dogs!
Well, since I don't have much else to write about, I thought I'd add some pictures of our dogs. We love them very much...they are our children. Libby is the black & white bassett that is in the photo with Pete. The other bassett is Niki. Pete has had both of them since way before I came into his life. Sally is the black terrier. We adopted her from the SPCA just shortly after we got together. Jack is the little chihuahua looking one. He came from my aunt & uncle's house in Laverne, OK. He's just a little mutt...dad is a chihuahua and his mom is a sheep dog/terrier mix of some sort.
Like I said, we love them very much, but they all have their issues, just like people. Libby can be extremely grouchy and possessive at times. Niki will fight with anyone if she thinks they are going to eat her food or her treat. Sally doesn't like Pete. I am the only one that can get her in to feed her. Jack chews up ANYTHING he can find. We've found some extremely interesting items in the back sunroom (which we not affectionately refer to as the 'dog room' because they have taken over back there). Among the items we've found are a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses that look like they are from the Top Gun era, a nearly destroyed glove, small pieces of siding from our house (which we cannot figure out where he is getting from) and various gourds, sticks and acorns.
Despite their issues, they are a lot of fun. They come in the kitchen when we are cooking dinner, only because they think they will get a piece of scrap that falls on the floor or that Pete actually decides to give them. They are the biggest beggar dogs I've ever seen! Anyway, just thought I'd add some pictures since I have only ever shown you Jack.
